Photographs:
Each piece is professionally hand drawn from a single photograph. And outside photo taken on a sunny day works the best because the eyes and coat will take on thier natural colors. I prefer that you send me the photograph via email if possible. I do ask that you send me a clear photo with a high resolution of 1280 x 1024 or higher, at least 300 dpi and in a .jpg if possible. This will enable me to enlarge the image and use this for the detailed characteristics of your pet like the eyes and hair type. This helps me to capture your pets lifelike details to reproduce in my portraits. If you are unsure of the resolution of the photo just sent it to me and I'll let you know if we need to look into other options. I prefer that you send me the photograph via email but if you are unable to send it that way, please contact me and we can make other arrangements.
Each piece is a one of a kind portrait and I do not use any type of projector equipment to assist in the drawing of my portraits.
Medium Used:
I create my portraits in black and white using graphite pencils and charcoal. I've worked in other mediums but have gained a reputation for my black and white pieces and therefore I have committed my work to this medium only. I feel it helps me to bring out the character in your pet in a very simplistic and artistic way.

Your satisfaction is extremely important to me. I want you to feel completely secure with your purchase so upon finishing your portrait, I will email you a copy of the piece. If, for any reason, you are unsatisfied with your pet portrait upon viewing the emailed proof, please let me know and I will work with you to correct it. I do require that final payment is made prior to me sending the emailed proof.
If you receive your portrait and are unhappy with it, please return it to me within 30 days for a full refund minus the shipping cost. This has never been an issue for me but I want to offer you this guarantee to ensure your satisfaction and help ease your mind about buying on line from me.
Payment:
All orders require a deposit of 50% of the total. The balance of the payment will include taxes (7%) and shipping cost and is due prior to the emailed photo of the portrait. Once you have approved the emailed photo of the portrait the artwork will be shipped to you.
For my local clients, the final payment for the portrait will be due when you pick up or I deliver the portrait to you.
Delivery:
Each pet portrait requires many hours to create so please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery of your portrait. Delivery times are often less than that stated but I like to ensure that I have enough time to give your portrait the attention it requires. If you need the piece for a specific date, please indicate the date you need the portrait by upon ordering.
