Now that I have my art studio in full swing, I decided to begin work on another style of pet portrait. As an avid lover of pop art I created "Blue Dog", a portrait of my faithful 13 year old mutt Casey. I love using bright colors and tried to create a life like representation of her without being confined to the realistic colors and lines of her true form. The entire piece is done in Acrylic Paint using various sizes and styles of painting knives. This piece is the first of my newest collection and "Blue Dog" is not available for sale. But I will be adding new pieces as I go and those will be added to my site ready for purchase to grace the walls of other art lovers worldwide.
